Market Trends and Customer Engagement

Before the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Turkey’s power stations predominantly used natural gas as fuel. However, due to the subsequent significant increase in natural gas prices, many small and medium-sized gas power plants in Turkey have shifted to biomass and solid waste-fired power generation, as well as solar and wind energy power stations. Notably, solid waste-fired power plants and wind power generation attracted a considerable number of customers at this exhibition.

During the exhibition, Taishan Group engaged with nearly 20 potential company clients and received close to 100 visitors. The majority of inquiries were focused on biomass power plant boilers and solid waste-fired boilers, with additional interest in heat exchangers and transformers. We had in-depth discussions on a waste heat boiler project for a paper mill and a 12MW coal-fired power plant project, both of which require further follow-up.

Insights and Future Plans

Through this exhibition, we gained a comprehensive understanding of the demand and distribution of the boiler market in Turkey, providing reliable data for future sales strategies in the region. Additionally, we established connections with local agency companies, which will greatly facilitate our access to project information and market trends.
